At the May 2025 monthly meeting of the Solano County Democratic Central Committee (SCDCC), committee members reached a unanimous decision to formally acknowledge Thursday, June 19, 2025, as Juneteenth and encourage all residents of Solano County to observe this day with activities and reflections that celebrate freedom and justice for all people.
We pledge to continue raising awareness about the importance and history of Juneteenth and work tirelessly to eradicate institutional and systemic racism wherever it exists, advancing equity and inclusion for all members of Solano County.
